Pho Bang

Pho Bang is a small town at the frontier of Vietnam and China, lying at 20 kilometres far from Dong Van suburban district and 117 kilometres away from Ha Giang Town ship. For a long time, Pho Bang is not only the homeland where H’Mong and Hoa ethnic minorities live, but also it is  famous as an intereting destination of Ha Giang land with ancient streets mixed between Chinese architecture and the architectural style of the local inhabitants. At Pho Bang, there is "cho lui" (kermis) which is organised once a week, one day receded at the coming week. This kermis has less people than in Dong Van but it is original.

One time coming with Pho Bang, tourists will never forget this small town with brick houses containing very thick walls or wooden houses with green moss. The town of faithful and sincere residents living in the mountainous region has stayed in minds of many people passing by.
